Rich May Client, G-Tek Labs, Inc., to Open New Innovative Hardware Workspace in South Boston
Working with Assistant Vice Presidents Ryan Healy and Mike Shakespeare of Colliers International, Rich May Attorney James Heffernan successfully negotiated an approximately 30,000 square feet new innovative hardware workspace for client, G-Tek Labs, Inc.
Envisioned by CEO Jeff C. Chang and backed by Taiwan-based Gigatek, Inc., G-Tek Labs will create an environment conducive to development, manufacturing and scaling of electronic devices. The shared workspace will provide access to design software and state-of-the-art equipment, such as 3D printers and pick and place machines, that are required to explore new ideas in the hardware technology arena.
G-Tek Labs has begun construction on its two-story space at 28 Damrell Street in South Boston with plans to launch Phase 1 in September 2017. It has already started accepting applications for prospective members.
G-Tek Labs recognizes Boston as a renowned center for innovation and is home to one of the largest start-up ecosystems in the world.
Together with Attorney Ku Yoo of Chang & Yoo, LLP, Attorney Heffernan and Rich May Attorney Theodore Lund are also assisting G-Tek Labs with corporate formation and funding documentation.
