Attorney Jeffrey B. Loeb Named a Keynote Presenter at the 14th Annual Real Estate Law Conference
Jeffrey B. Loeb, a Rich May shareholder, has been named as a keynote presenter at the 14th Annual Real Estate Law Conference, hosted by Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education, Inc. (MCLE) and the Real Estate Bar Association. Mr. Loeb, who represented the Plaintiff in the Bevilacqua v. Rodriguez case, will anchor a panel discussion regarding that case’s implications on resolving defective foreclosures. Other members of the panel will include Glenn F. Russell, Jr., Esq., who represented foreclosed mortgagors in U.S. Bank National Association v. Ibanez, and Douglas W. Salvesen, Esq., of Yurko Salvesen & Remz, PC. The Conference will be held from 9AM to 5PM on March 21, 2012 at the MCLE Conference Center, located at 10 Winter Place in Boston, MA.
Mr. Loeb is a shareholder of the firm who focuses on business litigation and real estate, with significant experience in the areas of general civil litigation and business and commercial law, as well. Mr. Loeb received his B.A. from Yale University in 1982 and his J.D., cum laude, from Boston College Law School in 1985. He is admitted in the courts of Massachusetts, the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts, the First Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Tax Court. He has been admitted pro hac vice in the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey, the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Districts of Connecticut, Delaware, New Hampshire, Ohio and Rhode Island, and state courts in New Jersey and Florida. He has tried cases in all levels of the state courts and in the United States District Court and the Bankruptcy Court, and has argued appeals in both state and federal courts.
Mr. Loeb is an active member and former officer of the Massachusetts Bar Association, as well as a member of the American Bar Association, the Salem Bar Association, the Essex County Bar Association, Massachusetts Association of Trial Attorneys and The Association of Trial Lawyers of America. Mr. Loeb has been a frequent lecturer and contributor for continuing legal education programs run by the Massachusetts Bar Association and MCLE, and co -authored the chapter on appeals from the District Court in MCLE’s publication on appellate practice and procedure.
Jeffrey B. Loeb was named by his peers as one of the elite lawyers in Massachusetts in 2005, 2006, and 2008-2011 according to Super Lawyers, a joint publication of Boston Magazine and Law & Politics. In addition, he has an “av” rating from Martindale.
