Rich May Joins Massachusetts Bar Association Eco-Challenge as a Founding Member

The Massachusetts Bar Association Energy and Environmental Task Force has issued the Lawyers Environmental Pledge to implement the Green Guidelines, a comprehensive guide to help lawyers reduce energy and resource consumption. The Pledge and Guidelines are the latest development in the MBA Lawyers Eco-Challenge, an initiative the MBA launched in September with the Conservation Law Foundation.

Rich May has joined the Eco-Challenge as a Pledge Partner. Pledge Partners have agreed to sign the MBA Lawyers Environmental Pledge in its early stages. Lawyers Pledge Partners will be recognized by the MBA and CLF. In its participation in the Eco-Challenge and in its professional (including pro bono) work, Rich May has given significant support to sustainability and renewable energy efforts around the world. Rich May has had experience with wind, solar, biomass and energy efficiency projects in India and the Middle East, as well as the United States, and has also represented emerging clean tech companies and assisted them as they develop and finance their ideas.

More than 50 law firms and organizations have since joined the effort, and Rich May is proud to be one of the first firms to sign.
